Latteria ’55

Latteria ’55 is a prestigious salumeria (cured meat shop), based in Fidenza that has been honoured with the title of Bottega Storica d’Emilia Romagna* and has been included in the list of the twenty best cheese making factories in Italy. It was established in 2004 through the merger of two local shops, witness of  which is born in its name: the Latteria of Roberto Rizzi and the Bottega of Nello Ghirardi that had been originally opened in 1955. It is the show-piece in the central via Cavour street and it delights its affectionate customers with gourmet proposals and a wide selection of cheeses, cured meat and deli products made by the best craftsman companies. All the products have been carefully selected by Roberto Rizzi jointly with Silvano Romani, thus consolidating the synergy between these two men who have been sharing one common passion for good food since the establishment of Latteria ’55.

*lit. Historical shop of Emilia Romagna, the title is given to shops in the Emilia Romagna territory that are witness of the local food and cultural tradition.

Opening hours:
From Monday to Saturday:  from 8:00 to 1:00 pm and from 3:30 to 7:00 pm

It’s closed on Thursday afternoon.
